Noel Murphy

Noel Murphy is an acclaimed award-winning painter based in Belfast. He studied fine art at the National College of Art and Design and the Ulster University, and has extensively exhibited in Belfast, Dublin and internationally. He is very well known for being commissioned to paint the Northern Ireland Assembly in Session becoming the second artist to do so in the history of the State, and his portrait of Michael Collins for the Glasnevin Museum in Dublin. His works are held in numerous private, corporate and public collections including those of the Ulster Museum, Belfast, the Arts Council of Northern Ireland, and AIB and Glasnevin Museum, Dublin.
