Further information

Alacoque Davey works across several disciplines including ceramic, print, drawing, painting and sculpture, and she makes two- and three-dimensional pieces often using reclaimed objects and papers. Davey creates work that is largely abstract and experiments with shapes, colours and lines. Her emphasis is on materials, techniques and processes. She is primarily interested in the materiality of substances and her practice focuses on how to combine and play with surfaces to create a unified space.
