Aritst's commentary about this work: 'The Promise belongs to an imagined story. A young girl, the protagonist, undergoes a rite of passage within a vast and ancient manor house that has become enchanted; its rooms transformed into manifestations of the human psyche.
Having discovered a white snake, a symbol of wisdom, transformation, and transcendence, the girl ascends towards a darkened sky. Below her, amorphous birds claw greedily at her feet, embodying forces of anxiety, confusion, and psychic unrest. Despite these threatening presences, the image is imbued with a profound sense of hope and renewal. The figure appears both enigmatic and resolute as she casts off the dark grasp of the world below, moving towards a state of wholeness and spiritual integration.'
