Katherine St. Angelo is a successful emerging artist. Her work explores the relationship we have with our environment and how it is uniquely tied to our own ‘emotional landscape’. Using painting and mixed media (textiles, printmaking, collage and recycled materials) she creates figurative or semi-abstract landscapes that are a portrayal of her own memories. The forms, impressions and sense of the landscapes encapsulate moments in time, thoughts, feelings and emotions. St. Angelo also draws inspiration from the colours and textures of the earth, the movement and mood of the landscape.
