Artist's commentary about this work: 'A small work in acrylics on canvas, this piece was firstly built up in layers, making patterns from handmade stencils and textured papers, before defining the figure in the foreground. This piece speaks to the modern culture of artificial intelligence and technology merging with humanity, and the negative effect it has on us, not least of which is the question of whether we can really believe all that we see or hear anymore.'
